An expert system for the recommendation of visual aids

This paper describes the design and development of an expert system that aids in the recommendation of computer access technology visual aids for the severely visually handicapped. The primary focus here is on a description of the frame structure used to represent the knowledge base and the accompanying search strategy which takes advantage of this frame structure.
